How to interpret the Turnitin Report and read teacher's comments and assessment


How to read about matches in Turnitin’s Feedback Studio report, as well as teacher's  comments and possibly listen to audio feedback in different activities

 

A) Assignment   




Open the Assignment. If Turnitin report is not yet completed, status is Queued in Submission status field. 



The Turnitin report is completed. Click the colored percentage button

 

Turnitin Integrity report

If there is no percentage shown on the right side of the document, Report can be opened from arrows icon.

 

 

More detailed information about similarities is colored in the text. 

 

All sources can be view from Sources overview > All Sources.

Sources can also be excluded from sources. 

 

B) Quiz 

Open the quiz. In Summary view you can see grade/points. From Review

Turntin report can be view from Review and under the essey there is Turnitin report. Report opens by clicking the colored precentage bar. 

Turnitin Integrity Report is similar to wha tis described above in the Assignment part. 

 

 

C) Turnitin assignment  2   

 

 Open Turnitin assignment  and click the color button next to the percentage number.

Feedback Studio opens and you can review the report.

Assessment matrix

If the teacher has used an assessment matrix to support the assessment, you will find the matrix:

A) in advance: you can read  the criteria in the Assignment by clicking on the View the Rubric -button on the right side



B) when the evaluation is completed: first click the speech bubble button and then the View Rubric -button
