About Moodle courses
If teacher has created the course space to Moodle via Sisu, you don't need any course enrolment key. Course should automatically be in your Moodle My Courses page after registration to the course. If you cancel your enrolment in Sisu, it will remove you from Moodle course space.
Other than Sisu connected courses you usually enrol in Moodle course with a course key. Teacher or administrative staff will tell you the address of the course and the course key for the enrolment.
Joining the course
Find the course in Moodle with Find in the header or browse it from the list of courses on your Dashboard, if the teacher haven't send you the link to the course via email. No enrolment key is needed, if course is connected to Sisu registration.
- Log in to Moodle with JYU account or for example Haka account.
- Click the right course (All, In progess or Future course overview)
- Add enrolment key if necessary to the course (your teacher should have sent it to you). If the course is visible, you enrol yourself to the course on the Enrol me to this course tab.
- Click Enrol me
Leave the course
- If you have made the registration in Sisu and automatically have right to the course in Moodle, cancel the registration in Sisu.
- If you want to drop out from a Moodle course, where you have enrolled with the enrolment key, you can choose More > Unenrol me from this course and Continue
- If the teacher has added you to the course, you can't unenrol yourself. Please contact your teacher!
