Outlook's calendar is a simple and convenient way to schedule, organize remote and in-person meetings, and manage daily tasks in your work environment. You can both participate in and create meetings quickly and easily in the calendar, as well as set private reminders for yourself. Additionally, you can create recurring events, such as weekly meetings at the same time, to avoid creating a new event each time.
The calendar in Outlook synchronizes with Teams, so events created in Teams automatically sync to the electronic calendar, and you receive automatic notifications via email.
In Outlook's calendar, you can create events in the following ways:
The calendar is an easy way to avoid forgetting scheduled meetings, as invitations are automatically added to your calendar even if you haven't accepted them. Notifications are sent via email, where you can confirm your attendance if needed. If you decline, the calendar entry won't appear.
Note: To prevent spam for the event creator, avoid responding to event notification messages, especially for recurring events or events with many participants.
Events can include a lot of information, such as event location, supplementary materials/files, event time, and a link to a video conference, among others. Teams/Schedule notifies you when an event is 15 minutes away or when someone has started the event online.

You can also add the event to a shared calendar, making it visible to the owners of the same shared calendar.
